A Full Delivery Team, as a Service

Most suppliers deliver tickets and own nothing. We take a workstream, run it alongside your in-house team and the other partners already in the room, and leave documentation behind when we go.

From £9,500 per month, excluding VAT. Minimum engagement of 3 months.

Built to work inside organisations that already have suppliers

Our people have delivered alongside in-house engineering teams and delivery partners including Experis, Capgemini, Three UK and Simplyhealth.

  • Engagements sit outside IR35, contracted business to business
  • GDPR-compliant handling of data and access, with UK and EU-based leadership
  • Security reviews, documentation and handover treated as deliverables, not extras

What is a Core Team as a service?

Core Team as a service is an engagement model where an external provider supplies a complete, managed delivery unit rather than individual contractors. A Metamindz Core Team is a fractional CTO, a technical delivery manager and a senior full-stack developer on one fixed monthly fee, with QA, UI, UX, DevOps, data engineering, cyber security and additional engineers added as the roadmap requires. The team owns architecture, delivery and quality for its workstream, and coordinates with in-house teams and other suppliers.

Why enterprises use a Core Team

🤝

Plays well with the teams already there

Most enterprise delivery involves an in-house team, one or two agencies and a systems integrator. We are used to that. Our delivery manager runs the interfaces between them, so integration problems surface in a stand-up rather than in production.

🎯

Ownership, not ticket delivery

A Core Team takes a workstream and owns the outcome: the architecture, the estimate, the build, the review and the release. If something is a bad idea, we say so before it is built, not in the retrospective.

🧭

Technical leadership across partners

The fractional CTO can act as the technical authority across suppliers: reviewing other partners' architecture decisions, setting the quality bar, and giving your programme a single technical voice that is not selling you more headcount.

📋

Procurement-ready from day one

Outside IR35 and contracted business to business. GDPR-compliant data handling. NDAs before the first call if you need them. Documentation, runbooks and handover notes produced as the work happens, not written up at the end.

Two ways to work with us

Take the full Core Team when you want a workstream owned end to end. Take individual developers when your own leadership and delivery management are already in place.

Core Team

A complete delivery unit on a fixed monthly fee.

From £9,500 per month

Best for

Companies that want a product built and owned properly, without hiring a full department or managing an agency.

What you get

  • A fractional CTO leading architecture, technical decisions and code review
  • A technical delivery manager running sprints, reporting and day-to-day communication
  • A senior full-stack developer building the product
  • Architecture and estimation before the build starts
  • Daily updates, weekly demos and preview links
  • Documentation and handover support, with no vendor lock-in

Add to the core team as the roadmap needs it

  • QA and test automation
  • UI design
  • UX design
  • Customer interviews
  • DevOps
  • Data engineering
  • Cyber security
  • Landing pages and e-commerce
  • Mobile app developers
  • Additional frontend, backend or full-stack engineers

Per-developer

One vetted engineer, on a simple hourly or daily rate.

Transparent hourly or daily rate, quoted on the intro call.

Best for

Teams that already have technical leadership and delivery management in place, and need capacity in a specific stack.

What you get

  • A single engineer allocated to your team
  • Technically vetted by our CTOs before you meet them
  • Works inside your tools, your process and your rituals
  • You meet the engineer before anything is agreed
  • Scale up, swap, or stop at the end of the term
  • Our CTOs are still available to help ad-hoc whenever needed

All figures exclude VAT.

From today to results

  • Step 1

    Fractional CTO session

We map the programme: the existing stack, the in-house team, the other suppliers, the constraints nobody wrote down. No commitment, and an NDA first if that is how you work.
  • Step 2

    Scope, architecture and interfaces

We define what the Core Team owns, where it hands off to other teams, and what the reporting looks like. You get an estimate you can put in front of a steering committee.
  • Step 3

    Team onboards

You meet the team before anything is signed. They onboard into your tools, your security requirements and your release process.
  • Step 4

    Delivery, with the paperwork done

Daily updates, weekly demos, code review on every change, and documentation that keeps pace with the code. Add QA, DevOps, data engineering or cyber security to the team as the roadmap needs them.

We believe in "Show, Don't Tell"

See what our clients have to say.

“Great working with Lev and team at MetaMindz! We were working on a project to build new features in our mobile app. Lev was brilliant with managing the project and supporting the definition of tasks to complete with his insight on the user experience. The dev team was very responsive throughout by sharing updates on both Slack and our project management board in Asana. I look forward to continuing to work with MetaMindz in the future.” source

“Working with Lev at Metamindz has been an absolute pleasure. The level of service and personal input has been outstanding since the beginning. Lev, was able to find the right people, talent and skills required. But the service does not end there, the aftersales, the advice, the attention to detail are all outstanding. If we had any concerns, they were dealt with immediately and with regular follow-ups. Metamindz are the first name that springs to mind when considering recruitment, I would totally recommend.” source

From £9,500 per month, excluding VAT. That fixed monthly fee covers a fractional CTO, a technical delivery manager and a senior full-stack developer. QA, UI, UX, customer interviews, DevOps, data engineering, cyber security, landing pages and e-commerce, mobile developers and additional frontend, backend or full-stack engineers are added on top as the roadmap needs them.

Outside IR35. We contract business to business as a supplier delivering an outcome, with our own team, our own tooling and our own delivery management, rather than placing individuals into your organisation under your direction.

Yes, and it is the normal case rather than the exception. Our people have delivered alongside in-house engineering teams and delivery partners including Experis, Capgemini, Three UK and Simplyhealth. The delivery manager owns the interfaces between teams and the fractional CTO can act as the technical authority across them.

Data handling is GDPR-compliant, with UK and EU-based technical leadership. We work to your access model, sign your NDAs and DPAs, and the fractional CTO reviews what the team can touch, particularly around authentication, payments and personal data. Security reviews and penetration testing are available as part of the engagement.

Three months. Enterprise onboarding alone can take a few weeks, so anything shorter is a discovery exercise rather than delivery.

We plan for it. Documentation, runbooks and architecture decisions are produced as the work happens, and we support your in-house team through handover and training. There is no vendor lock-in, and we can help you hire the permanent team through our CTO-led recruitment service.
